A little while ago I was asked to write a book for an aged care centre and the rather boringly named Manor Court – The Journey So Far was created.
Since then I’ve become fascinated with getting older people’s stories on paper and have so far worked on Nellie’s story , Jack’s memoir and Wendoleen’s words. There are another 4 books currently in hand, including my repeated attempts to get my own father to tell me more about his childhood, parents and war years in London (cue photo of his parent’s wedding day).

I’m also always working on a collection of local stories via the Little River People project…as this what’s known as a ‘love job’, it’ll probably be going for years yet.
As it’s now become an entity in it’s own right, I’ve separated out this business and called it My Family is a Story; both personal and corporate history books are included on this site.
